I’ve been reading it for days and not only does it work for what it promises, but the comments from the author are Cary McNeal at his best! (Good job C… now where’s the $$$ you promised??)

What a waste of money. I’m going to try to return it to Amazon. The author does not deserve a single cent of my money for this tired, unfunny, and un-inspired drivel (I seriously mean drivel, look it up!).
I was suckered by what seemed like a clever title, and a positive review somewhere online (which must have been bought). Every “Fact” is accompanied by the authors lame comment / attempt to be funny. I know funny, and this author is not.
If you are annoyed by people that steal the jokes of others, this book will drive you insane. This guy did not even bother stealing any good jokes, he “borrows” lame comments. Every comment that the author makes regarding the given “Fact” reminds me of an old comedian, and not one of the good ones.
I definitely would not recommend this book to anyone. If you accidentally (like a gift from someone that doesn’t care about you) end up with one of these as a bathroom reader, it will be handy when you run out of TP.

Interesting facts but the author’s horrible commentary after every single entry kills the book. Don’t buy this.

Sure to make you laugh, this unique trivia book contains 1,001 scary, odd, revolting, and bizarre documented facts about the world. Along with each fact is a tidbit of humorous commentary from the author, Cary McNeal.
McNeal’s witty wisecracks will keep you chortling, snickering, and snorting to the very end of the book. His clever use of sarcasm, puns, put-downs, hyperbole, word play, extended gags, and outright silliness will entertain and amuse you.
Those who are already fans of McNeal’s writing won’t be disappointed. Those unfamiliar with his caustic wit should visit his blog, List Of The Day, for further amusement.

A friend recommended that I buy this book. I checked out McNeal’s blog before ordering the book. I immediately noticed the man is not right in the head, which is something I really respect in a writer. Now I own the book and will probably buy copies for my sick friends. It’s worth the price. Even better than I anticipated.
